December 2008
Ah, the month of December has come and gone. I'am exhausted from jingle belling my one good eye for a whole month. Just when I thought I got over my drinking problem from my 2 month excursion with the Chee-Weez, we have our 1st Christmas party of the season and it's for City Wholesale liquor company. I've never drank so much Fox 45 in my stuffed taxidermied after life. A special thanks goes to cuz, Chris Doyle and the rest of the crew from City Wholesale. I don't know if anyone has noticed, but I have been having a stiffness problem for, oh, the last 4 years. Luckily for me the future of the occupational therapy field was here for their end of the year party. I think I actually felt one of my legs move. Thanks Greta and the class from LSU Occupational Therapy School. And the list goes on and on with Christmas parties. Here's a quick shout out to everyone. Robin and Tek Systems, Greybar electric and Brenda and Uncle Frank, Rae Lynn and All South, along with the Mixed Nuts (Congrats on your 10 year anniversary), Cathy and Gibbs Construction, along Marie Hafney and the crew from Fleur De Lis Catering, Greg Schneller and Quick Crete, my favorite foxy lady Uriah and Pay Chex, Dennis and all the employees of New Orleans Original Daquiri's and Fat Tuesday, Bill Ellis and the employees of Walter Barnes Electric, Brian Leaumont and the Army Corps. of Engineers, I was running on fumes after the KMT and TNT party, thanks Kenny and Jennifer, The Whitney Bank and D.J. VIcki Doss, Rachel and Old Dominion Freight, The IATSE Local 478 and Chandra and Wayne, APS Security and St. Catherine of Siena's grammar school reunion.
The band schedule was lighter than usual but great all the same. The Bag of Donuts performed with their usual destructive nature. Candy Canes thrown out to the crowd was a poor choice, but would you expect anything less. The godfather Rob Schulte performed three times, opening for the Topcats with his old band Roulette ( You would have never thought these guys had not performed together in 25 years. And finally Band Camp performed to round out the year. A note about Band Camp shows. They have alot of fine foxes running through their wilderness. Come and check them out!!!!!!!!
