Another hot month has passed by. I swear you couldn't pay my dead taxidermied butt to go outside. Personally I'm ready to install a damn swimming pool in my fox hole.But on to more pressing matters. The month of July is always reunion month at Southport Hall, so let me start by giving my shout out's to everyone: Crescent City High School and Christy Coleman, Rummel's 25 year and 5 year reunions, Lake Castle and Becky Kramer, Carbrini's 25 year Reunion and finally Mt Carmel's 15 year reunion and Amy Anders. A special thanks to Cleo Blue and the crew for the annual Faux Pas Fishing Rodeo pre-registration party. And finally to all the members of the Crescent City Kickball League for their annual Prom Party, you want to talk about wild!!!!!!!!!!!

On the band circuit a special thanks to the off the wall hilarious Bag of Donuts who were up to their usual antics the day before the fourth of July. The guys from Five Finger Discount rocked out to another great crowd. Jen's Ex put the pedal down and brought in a good crowd for their 1st headlining show at Southport. Rage Against the Machine Tribute Band "Know Your Enemy" yelled and rocked their way to an impressive showing, also their 1st headlining gig here. Show your support for these guys they are all locals. And finally our most impressive show off the month goes to the guys and gal from the Mixed Nuts who brought in a tremendous crowd. A special happy birthday goes out to their band leader, Chuck Credo, THANK YOU, MY GOOD MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!
